If in doubt, Oxford’s bus gates probably won’t apply to you….

Don’t fret! If you live in Oxfordshire, you will barely notice the bus gates. You’ll need to apply for a permit, but once you have this, you’re covered to travel as you always have done.

If you don’t live in Oxfordshire, you’ll need to either use a different ring road exit to the one you might normally use, or even consider using the Park & Ride (it was the first of it’s kind in the UK, and has been delivering people in and out of central Oxford since the 1970s).
